Obituary for Colleen Bolden Colleen Bolden, age 90, of Jonesboro, Georgia entered into rest on August 23, 2020. Colleen LaDoris Bolden, a retired federal servant with the State Department and military spouse, living in Jonesboro, GA with her family died peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2020 at the age of 90. Colleen is survived by her sons; Gregory Keith and Michael Kent ; her daughter Sharon Bolden; grandchildern, Gregory Jr., Ashley, Michael Jr., Jessica, and Keith,and 8 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Walter Henry Bolden (Hank) Jr. her sister, Helen Willis; and her parents. James Moore and Alteen Byrd-Moore. Colleen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt, sister, and friend. She enjoyed life to the fullest, traveled to 33 countries, and was a servant to all. She was also a problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and around the house. She was a faith-based woman and involved in many church activities, including reading the scriptures during services. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
