Theoharis Pinacas

Theoharis Pinacas, age 54, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away on Monday. August 4th, 2025 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Hary was born on September 29, 1971 in Astoria, New York to Emmanuel and Maria Pinacas. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1989 and went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Mercer University.Hary will be remembered for his love of soccer, snowboarding, and traveling to visit his family in abroad in Greece. He was a dedicated fan of Atlanta United soccer and never missed a chance to go to Mercedes Benz Stadium and cheer on his favorite team.Hary is survived by his mother and father, Emmanuel and Maria Pinacas, his two brothers, Mike and Mark Pinacas and their spouses, Holly and Shelly Pinacas; his aunt Maria Smith and her spouse Ken Smith, his aunt Mabel Parks, his aunt Esperanza Trabas; his nephews Nikos Pinacas, Alec Pinacas, Emmanuel Pinacas, and Andrew Pinacas, their spouses Megan Pinacas and Kayla Pinacas, and his grand nephew Jack Pinacas; his cousin Jessica Edwards, her spouse Jordan Edwards, and their children Jeremiah and Juliana Edwards; and his cousin Martha Trabas. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Marcos and Olga Borroto. 

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm at our Hattie G. Watkins Chapel, 163 North Avenue Jonesboro, GA 30236. Anyone who knew and loved Hary is welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Hary's memory.
